Gasp

as reply to missing the quiet morning

He sat near the tv. The sacred tv him and Jack called it. It for some reason had rules. It always must be on, and it always must have the sports channels. Espn. Espn always.

One time a kid went up to change it and everyone booed. He didn’t really like sports, liked to play, but more for fun. The watching of teams, whose playing for who he didn’t care. But the whole school seemed to care. Much more than he thought. He was surrounded by fans of the school.

He had bought a t-shirt to fit in. But if asked any serious questions he couldn’t answer people mostly men would look at him with sort of distate.

So sometimes he liked watching Espn. Then he could bring up something later. Yeah did you see that goal crazy, that touchdown, Alabama. Yeah thank god we’re not playing them.

He liked having gone to the school, but he didn’t really get it. He did like Espn playing right now. As he was alone it was entertaining. People watched reacted. He honestly could probably say something to someone start a conversation. But instead he looked at his phone. Only looking up if he heard people gasp.
