All of That

as reply to more than a few words

His parents house had always been warm. So that wasn’t the reason he left. Or maybe it was, too supportive of a place. Not that they were supportive of it. This whole thing, they weren’t talking at the time, but before that they’d always been around at least.

It was times like this when he thought about his past other friends and their families, and all the shit that came with it. The friends that came and went and he wasn’t sure if they’d gotten out. He thought about looking them up on the system but he didn’t want to find out the truth.

He knew they definitely weren’t up there with him. That was for sure. But he wondered if they left. If their habits changed. Or if it was the same patterns just repeated at infinity.

There was one girl he knew applied, maybe she’d start next year. Or something. Maybe she didn’t make it. Kathleen, she’d always been bright but was from a family of like 6. Always had to play a parent, she was the oldest or second oldest, her sister was a doctor, so she didn’t have to care about those things. Family issues and all of that.
