Comedian Bill Maher announced this week that he tested positive for COVID19. He was fully vaccinated and is asymptomatic. What got my interest was his recent tweet:
For those who don't get the sports reference, even I know that Cal Ripken, Jr. holds the MLB record for most consecutive games played with 2,632 spanning a seventeen-year career from 1982-1998. The previous record was held by Lou Gehrig with 2,130 games over a fifteen-year career from 1925-1939.

Since 1993, Bill Maher has had a TV show for 28 years. 28 seasons, 2,735 episodes, 1,649 hours. He managed to keep his show going last year during the pandemic by hosting from his backyard. He's a true believer that the show must go on. The only reason his streak finally ended was due to COVID protocols.
Bravo to Bill for keeping it going all these years. You shall remain an honorary member of #Teamstreak.
Thanks to all wishing me get well - hard to do since I feel fine, but I appreciate it! Most upset about ending my streak going back to 1993 of never missing a Politically Incorrect or Real Time episode. Oh well, even Cal Ripken had to sit one out at some point.
