The plan to leave rose up like a wave in him. A big wave a catastrophic wave. But instead of a crash and the destruction of change he sort of gave up.
Watching the wall was fine for a little, and then he started playing on his phone more. Then he started watching videos streaming and everything. He liked that.
He became close to a few streamers contributing coins and likes and even followers that he’d bring from games.
His phone expanded into a computer with one monitor at first and then two and now four stacked up in a square. So he could just watch everything. It was better than going outside. There wasn’t all that noise.
He started the seal himself out. One of the only guys he’d see was the delivery guy once and while he brought groceries and pizza.
Calorie dense foods, and sometimes tall boys. He wasn’t supposed to bring him those but after they’d chat for awhile he would. Just a four pack, don’t want to do more. Weird buying it you know. He’s say.
