Retrieving a hot beverage from the microwave

"First of all, you know it's a microwave oven that produces microwaves. The machine itself is not a microwave."
"Yes, I know that. It's just easier to say 'microwave' instead of 'microwave oven'"
"Dire Straits had it right when they said they got the install microwave ovens."
"I want my OLD MTV, not whatever MTV is now."
"Is MTV still actually a channel?"
"I think so."
"Did you know that the Spanish word for 'microwave' is 'microonda,' and it's one of the only Spanish words that has a double 'o'?"
"Umm, okay so what did you call me about?"
"My girlfriend burned herself taking a hot cup out of the microwave the other day, and I'm trying to figure out how that happened. I mean, if you grab the cup by the handle, there should be no problem."
"Maybe the handle was hot."
"That would be a bad design. I asked her what cup she used, and I heated up some water with it and pulled it out no problem."
"Maybe she grabbed it by the body of the cup and not the handle? Or she didn't have a firm grip on it and spilled it?"
"Oh, she has a firm grip all right."
"I don't know where you're going with that but I don't want to know."
"I think she reached her hand and arm into the microwave and dipped her hand into the cup like a crane and spread out her fingers against the inside of the cup and pulled it out that way."
"Only you would come up with something like that. Ok, gotta run."

Haha this is a good stream of conversations by you. Kept me interested the whole time.

I guess you could troll someone by giving them a cup with a 'hollow' handle that lets water through it... then it would be hot to the touch inside of a device containing a microwave oven.
