Start. Stop. ReStart.

It's okay to start over.

Permission to start over means you can start the project and get much of the way through and stop.  You start. You stop.

Maybe you finished. But stopping doesn't mean you finished. For that matter, finishing doesn't mean you stop.

Separate the ideas of stopping with finishing. Stopping is a halting of movement while finishing is completing the task; getting things done.

If you start a project and stop because you're stuck, it's okay to start over.

It's okay to start over, because the only other option is to quit entirely. That's probably okay too.

If you stop, your options are to start again or to quit. Quitting  and finishing both embrace the idea of being done.

The idea of restarting can also be a continuance. Unless the project is complete in one day, you'll quit for the day and continue in the morning. Life is like that. We only live during a wake period. When we sleep, we don't really know if we're still here or not. We can prove our bodies remain with live video monitoring, but where do our souls go to play at night?

If you've ever felt bad for stopping a project, don't. Just restart.

You know what? I hated these type of experimental posts when you wrote them on 200WAD but now that I read them again as an older, more matured person I really appreciate them. lol really looking forward to more of these.

And yes. Being able to restart. stop. or do whatever in the future is the masterkey to not thinking that your next move has to be a master chess checkmate move. you can just mend things as you go along. You don't have to be so scared.
