The feeling of not being heard is a non-starter in any context: work, friends, relationships, etc.
It’s important to listen first.
When people feel heard, they feel better.
When people feel heard, you get better adoption for the plans being proposed.
When people feel heard, you enable better outcomes.
Sheer ambition isn’t enough; you can’t lone-wolf your way through most things.
The more ambitious the effort, the more you need a team, the more you need a community.
And to do that, you need to listen first.
If one fails to listen to the people around them it almost certainly means they aren't listening to their inner voice either.
