August Wrap Up

I set out to do quiet a bit in August. I have a habit of setting very ambitious goals.

1. Sleep - Has been ok. It was better than July until the week before the writing competition. That week was NOT good. Oura gave me a few 'Pay attention' warnings. I scored a 74.19% in my daily check spreadsheet. I should do better in September. I also joined Jason's 5am group. Downloaded the Rise app but deleted it when I got a bunch of spam. I will keep working on this waking up early thing.

2. Health - Has been very good. Diet is consistent and I added walking 10,000 steps almost everyday. That has increased my energy and improved my health overall.

3. Business - I wanted to get a few digital products out there in August. I have successfully done that. I was even banned from one of the sites so the hustle is real. I am actively working on the no-code product I want to create. Jason introduced me to the idea of using drag and drop apps to simplify making an MVP. Scored a 96.77% in this area.

4. Courses - I completed 3 masterclass courses on writing in August. My original goal was to learn some AI skills as well but writing took over instead. I learnt a LOT from the masterclass and enjoyed applying it. I am interested in screenwriting and films as well so I will make time for those skills. In Sept, I will focus on learning no-code and AI skills. Maybe build something together. I scored an 87.10% here.

5. Medium Challenge - I have written one post for the Medium challenge. It took me more time and effort than I predicted. Taking the masterclass courses also made me realize the importance of a hook, title, conclusion and story selection. I wanted to write for the 3/4 prompts but couldn't make it on time. But I am happy with the one piece I wrote. I put this achievement under the butterfly moment goal.

6. Weight training - I have failed miserably at this in July and in August. I did it for 7 days in August, which is 7 more than July but it is still the lowest score of everything I am tracking. I scored 22.58%

3 areas where I scored 100%:

Spending time outdoors
Time learning a mastery topic
Making time for loved ones

2 areas where I scored under 70%:

Weight training
Working on public facing projects in data science

Overall, it was a good month. Active month. Learnt a lot. Tried new things.
My total score is - 84.03%
