So, I got an email this morning from Shopify. Our app have passed the first stage, we are now in the conversation stage. We can reply their emails and have sensible conversations about their requirements like adults (lol).
With that also came about 9 changes - such as too much API scopes, so we should exclude the ones we are not actively using. There’s even a change on our app icon, Shopify insists it must have a border 😁.
But, we are getting their. The dev have gone to work. I also used today to attend to personal issues, so I’ll be attending to the part that concerns me tomorrow (Saturday). By Monday evening we should be ready to reply them with our patches.
I trust that our will go live on the Shopify App next week. It’s MVP, we have lots us feature updates to make before setting the marketing machine rolling.
Fun Fact; While testing the app, the reviewer(s) tested the app on 7 different stores. I don’t know if that means the reviewing work was shared to 7 different people or they just needed to ensure our app works on any theme or environment at all. Either way, 7 is an impressive number.

Good luck with the release,
Also it makes sense that the conversation stage comes so late in the process. Saves a bunch of money not having to personally reply to the countless app submissions being made --> a lot of them probably really bad ones lol
