Side Hustles

I shared previously that I tried a few side hustles in the past. I am still actively doing that as a hobby for now. I haven't started to earn $$ just yet. Because I have done 0 marketing.   I know I need to get on that asap for it to justify the time I spend on it.

So far, I have only looked into POD(Print On Demand) things. That is the least capital intensive way to start a business. The problem with that is that everyone and their mother is doing it too. But I intend to automate both the work involved and the marketing and forget about it. If it makes money, good, if not, I move on.

Recently after joining Medium, I saw that they have a partner program. If you have 100 followers, you could get paid for your articles. Apparently, there are a few platforms offering something similar. Crowdsourcing the main product(articles on medium) is becoming a trend. I hadn't thought about writing being a way to make money, but I was going to write daily anyway - so why not?

As of today, I have over 140 followers. I am not sure why people are following me. But I started to follow some people with interesting views and almost all of them follow back.
Let's see how many cents I manage to earn with this writing thing.
Good luck on the
Medium
Partner Program!

Reading this I got to thinking why we even call something a side-hustle. Isn't everything just a hustle? what makes something a main vs a side hustle in your opinion?
