Walter Krauss psychopath SJW

Somedays Walter Krauss felt like the king in that bible story where he told the mothers that the baby would be cut in half. Whenever he met with someone in his department in person he was often dealing with personal beefs. Political drama. Seizures for finite power and posturing egos.

This is what made Krauss fit for his job. He had a small ego and was already powerful enough that he could arbitrate in these matters without becoming corrupt. Also he was a high functioning
psychopath
. This meant that he didn't feel the same emotions as others.

Having too much empathy or sympathy didn't suit power positions well. You would get sucked into one person's story and then want to give them what they want, only to realize that after hearing the other person's story you would want to also appease them. But then you'd get twisted up in a mutually exclusive scenario where what one person wanted was the demise of the other.

To his psychopathic brain these people were like children. They neither offended him or moved him in any way. Instead Krauss always went with what looked like the most sensible path.

"Walter, don't you realize that rationality isn't infalliable?"

"Yes, but I don't know a better alternative. You're suggesting that something is subject to falliability, yet you don't provide anything better. You're just being like one of those
SJW
s."

"Walter! you can't say that. It's a derogative term."

"SJW? You mean you are perceiving it negatively. I simply just said SJW. I didn't mean it to mean anything negative."

"Well you are comparing me to them now."

"Yes. You are making similar style of arguments."

"Exactly! See?!"

"But I never said that was a bad thing or not. That assertion was made by you."

His colleague shook his head and put his hand on Walter's shoulder.

"I feel sorry for you, Walter."

Walter looked straight into the colleague's eyes.

"Don't."
