Today

I spent most of the day driving to the hospital. My brother has a cold or something that has kept his temperature up for a few days. He finally caved and allowed me to take him to get it checked.

All the testing we did at home were negative for COVID but I wanted to make sure that it was not the case. When we got to the ER, we noticed that the place was packed. Barely a seat available.

Due to my own health vulnerabilities, I decided to not stay in the waiting room. I knew it would be a while before we got any news. It has now been 6 hours and all we got so far is that it is not COVID, virus, bacteria or pneumonia.

As usual, I tried to play Dr House and come up with possibilities but none made sense with the fever and high heart rate he has. So I am leaving it to the experts to make a diagnosis. I am just happy that he is under supervision.
