I am aware that I am better at communicating via written words than speaking.
Exactly why I decided to join toastmasters some year back. It helped. But it is the type of skill that requires constant practice to keep the muscle sharp.
Lately, over the last month or so, I find myself feeling like I am getting better at talking as well. I got a chance to practice a lot. And I get away from a conversation feeling like there was good communication there.
I know that I prefer the medium of writing cause I get the chance to think and edit many times over. With speech, there needs to be more flow and accuracy at the first go. So it is a more difficult skill to master - but it is worth working on.
