Nov 2022 Review

**Name three things you can improve on this upcoming month? What concrete actions can you take on to work towards these improvements?**

These were my goals for Nov.
  1. Making part time income. (Actual sales!) - Nope
  2. Writing my fiction book - Nope
  3. Working on a recipe book  - Nope

No excuses. This month was horrendous for me in terms of getting my goals accomplished.

For Dec - It will be a repeat of the same Nov goals:

  1. Making part time income. (Actual sales!)
  2. Writing my fiction book
  3. Working on a recipe book.

**What or who are you especially grateful for this past month?**

This month, I felt grateful for the friendships I have developed over the last several years. I got a chance to catch up with them in November. It made me realize how solid some of my relationships are and how important that is as I get older and it becomes harder to make new friends.

**How are you different between this past month and the month before it?**

I was a little out of it this last month. A few health related incidents with close family members and the whole bus and wework experiment left me tired and unproductive.

**What did you accomplish this past month? What are you most proud of?**

Accomplish feels like a word I can't use for November. I got significantly better at poker...but that's about it.

**Review your planner for the past month and assess your priorities. Are you happy with how you spent your time? If not, what steps can you take next month to adjust them?**

I used my excel checklist again for Nov and tracked myself on 20 things I care about. I ended the month with a score of 69%.... down from 77% in Oct. If it wasn't for certain things that I do as a default, my score would be in the 50s.
I am not happy with how I spent my time. I am beginning to realize that when my mind is distracted, I can't really do much. I need to find a way to deal with distractions and stressors.

**What were the three biggest lessons you’ve learned in the past month?**

  1. Great friends are priceless.
  2. I am unproductive when stressed or tired.
  3. I enjoy mentoring young people.

**What was the most memorable part of this past month? Describe it**

Being called an assassin at Poker during an in person game with veterans. More than the $$ amount, seeing the fear of other good players when I was in a game did a lot for my ego. It was wonderful.
