I could be wrong

I have a huge nudge, there’s going to be a generation that would be so bored with internet and digital environments. They wouldn’t want to exist in the Metaverse they’d want to have actual human connections. Touching real people. Meeting real humans. Hugging actual human beings. They’d get tired of the pseudo-experience AR, VR and etc offers.

This is wild. Facebook is literally betting in the opposite direction.

Both can happen.

I believe we’d all get bored when we’re sick and tired of the Metaverse and it’s competitive variants . That’d would be peak internet.

Then we’d all choose what is natural to human relations.
It'll be both.

Just like now, there are a lot of people who don't spend all their time on the internet all day.

and then there are a lot of people who do.

As of now I'm not sure whether i'll devote myself any further to the
internet
  (includng
metaverse
) any further than I already have.

I don't think you're wrong, there's surely going to be some kind of demarcation line. Also, millions of people who'll have no idea what any of this stuff is and won't decide to engage. A lot of folks are also gonna lose a lot of money in all this, chasing a mirage.
