How's those Trader Joes tamales?

"You ever had a tamale from Trader Joe's?"

"Yah, in fact, I just had one yesterday."

"They any good?"

"I have no idea."

"What do you mean, you just said you had one."

"Two, actually. They come in packs of two."

"So if you had two, you should know if they're any good."

"I agree, but I still have no taste or smell courtesy of Everyone's Favorite Virus™️."

"That sucks. So you're pretending not to be able to taste anything."

"No taste. No smell. At least the texture is about what I'd expect for a tamale. It wasn't all mush from being frozen."

"Now is the perfect time for you to eat healthy foods that you pretend not to like. You should go get some pineapple, green beans, maybe a smoothie, and some type of wrap."

"No time for pineapple or green beans. I don't have to smell or taste them to know they're still gross. Smoothies fail on texture. If it's a drink, I drink it. If it's a food, I eat it. I don't know what a smoothie is. And a wrap is just a sad replacement for a bonified sammich."

"So is that a thumbs up or down on the tamales?"

"I'd say go for it, but don't blame me if you don't like them."

Did you actually lose any taste and/or smell from your tenure?

Yes, no taste or smell for over a week. It's rather odd and annoying.

Dang sorry to hear that. Seems like that's a rarer symptom. Hope it returns soon.

in the meantime OPERATION PROJECT FOOD AS FUEL SO LONG AS TEXTURE IS DECENT

BTW the Trader Joes enchiladas are dog food. Fail on every aspect.
