This past week, I got reminded several times about waking up at 5am. In the book club I am in, a few ladies swear by it. In the course I took, the instructor swore by it. On my own, several books have mentioned it as a great habit.
And I already joined Jason's crew to wake up at 5am but I didn't.
Now that I am needed to step up my writing game without frequent interruptions, it is becoming necessary for me to try this early morning thing again.
I know this starts with an evening routine first. In order for me to get 8-9 hours of sleep, I need to sleep at between 8-9pm. That means I have to be done with eating, computer screens or anything that isn't helping me wind down by around 7pm.
I may need to use some herbs this first week. But I definitively want to try and see how my writing changes by this new routine.
