Just add this one to the long list of emails that I dread.
I will admit that Microsoft Teams is a convenient place to store shared documents that can be updated by multiple people simultaneously. I have always had challenges doing this on SharePoint with this idea of checking out documents and locked documents. So that's the good. The bad is that now I have one more place to be responsible for updating information.
"I don't have access to that folder/site" is a great excuse. You know, I'd love to update that policy, but I don't have access! In some cases, I never get access because I'm a consultant. In other cases, the excuse just buys some additional time before the inevitable.
I like the idea of moving documents out of email. There is nothing worse than a document going back and forth in email and wondering which is the most current version. I can't believe that this is still how companies do business with legally-binding agreements such as SOW's and contracts. Shouldn't they all be using Docusign or a similar service?
Aside - My college roommate devised a clever dating strategy in which he proposed having a girl sign a document before having relations. The document would have only four words on it: "You preg, me no." According to him, this would be a legally-binding document (notary optional) that would absolve him of any responsibility lest mother nature insist on a procreation incident.

How long is the average time until they find a way to get you this access?
The service tries to provide some type of sane way to handle fils in this corporate setting. Have you used it before for a prolonged time? If so do you have an opinion on it?
