A woman's voice responded on the other line. This freaked her out.

But then she registered what the voice was saying.

"Hello this is Max Dempsey's office. Sarah here. How may I help you?"

"Oh sorry. I just happened to get the wrong number. Sorry."

She hung up. "No worries." Sarah had said. But she still felt bad about calling. Why though? She was no impregnated by the man, shouldn't she have the right to call and not feel bad about it? Maybe it's the voice of the woman who'd answered. She sounded like somebody she'd get along with.

"We're going out tonight." a voice came in from the hall. "I think we deserve it. You coming?"

She hadn't gone out in so long. And she was now
pregnant
. The responsible thing to do would be not to go. But nobody in the world had known yet. For all intents and purposes, she could get hammered and just get an
abortion
without telling another soul.

"Oh and we're going out with one of our vendors. Miller and Co. Creative assholes who charge an arm, leg, and a kidney. But they get the work done!"
