Structure

I am spending a few days with my sister and her kids. I arrived just yesterday.

It is amazing the amount of structure that is you need to have around children. There is a time to eat. Time to brush the teeth. Time to go to bed. Time to wake up. Time to leave the house to go to school. Everything is on a schedule. You can't mess around.

As much as I already feel exhausted by all the structure, I think that is the key to a great life. I need to have a set time for everything I do. That is the only way to be efficient and not waste time trying to make multiple decisions in a day.

We assume that it is only children that need structure but actually, we all could use with this type of framework.

While I stay with my niece and nephew, I will set up a few structures too. I want to go to school with them and pick them up after school. So no waste time when I should be in bed. And always planning ahead.

It is amazing how much you can learn from any situation if you are open to it.
