undead

as reply to summer work

When he got up the next morning Dave had so much energy. He flew back to his house and didn't even look if the lights were red or green or blue whatever. He had his dog and thats all that mattered. He must of over slept or something but couldn't remember exactly. He'd never done that.

Arriving home he didn't remember opening the door but he was sitting on his bed taking off his shoes, but he didn't feel the springs. Not like he was that heavy, but this time he didn't hear the sound he usually did when he sat down. He looked around, and his gaze met his mirror. Unlike yesterday when he noticed smile line wrinkles and blamed the sun. He couldn't see a thing.

He looked at the dog, that was fine, but he didn't see him in the mirror either.

He walked around the house  noticing some things had changed since last night. His key rack was moved. It was cheap like some fake antlers, and if someone just grabbed something off of it, it moved. He didn't keep his normal keys there,

He tried to grab the door but its weight was much more than he remembers, he looked towards the radio and it turned on.

Breaking a news a man and dog's body was found near Sunny Dole Avenue beach early this morning. The victim has been identified as Dave Simmer a 30 white male, and his dog shadow.
