9/11

"I don't fly on 9/11."

"Why not?"

"Duh!? The World Trade Centers??"

"So what. You think they would do something again on the same day?"

"I wouldn't put it past terrorists since that was supposedly some special date in the first place."

"I think 9/11 would actually be one of the safest days to fly. Everyone remembers and would be hyper-vigilant and ready for anything."

"I'm still not taking my chances."

"So you don't fly?"

"No, I'm not afraid of flying. I just won't fly on 9/11."

"Speaking of that, Wynton Marsalis was on Bill Maher's show and said he's afraid to fly. He drove from New York to California for the show."

"Who's that?"

"Some jazz musician. It's a very irrational fear when you consider the likelihood of dying in a car accident vs. a plane crash."

"So he's pulling a Ritchie Valens."

"Well, if he tries to overcome the fear of flying and then dies in a plane crash, then he'd be pulling a Ritchie Valens and Buddy Holly and the Big Bopper."

"The day the music died."

"Did you see that documentary on Prime?"

"Yah, not bad. I think I have my fill of that song for a long time now."

"I think 9/11 would actually be one of the safest days to fly. Everyone remembers and would be hyper-vigilant and ready for anything."
