Greatness doesn’t really describe how MJ. I grew up knowing Micheal Jackson, way before I ever watched any music videos of his. That was all before the internet and even MTV Base.
I actually don’t even hate Beyoncé, but I strongly believe comparing Blue Ivy’s mom to Michael Jackson should be an institutionalized criminal offense.

MJ was so so great. No one is close. Yet.
MJ was great in the US and equally in all continents.
Bey is great in the US and fairly known outside North America and Europe.
MJ was super popular in African countries when all we had were radio stations and TV stations that started broadcast in 4pm and ended by midnight.
