What’s makes us great in some things makes us really clumsy in other things. 

I’ve always known this truth, but never heard it put this way before. 

Understanding that maxim makes us go easy on our “idols”. Helps us understand our friends better and keep our relationships longer. 

Great folks are usually clumsy on somethings which is usually the “fault” of the same trait that makes them great.
