The interior of the party store was bright. Rows of different chips, and candies sat perpendicular to a line of refrigerators, all brightly lit.  PBR ,  Miller Lite , and  bud light all sat next to each other, and the highbrow stuff a little further away.

So many times after school we ventured to Miller Rd crossing over from Flushing to Flint. So many times we'd go further, because it was true that at some stores if you wore a college shirt they wouldn't card you.
