I am alternating between two books. One fiction and one non-fiction about sales.
I am really into the sales book. For the first time in forever, I found myself reducing the speed of my audible app to 0.9x normal speed while reading it. The concepts are so new to me that I need more time to digest what the author is saying. I have already listened to 3 chapters repeatedly before completing the book even once. The topics covered are complex and I am very new to a lot of the lessons.
When I find myself in the mood to read the novel I started, I have to change the speed again. Fiction is at 1.3x the normal speed. I can not listen to fiction at the 0.9 or normal speeds. And I most certainly do not listen to any chapter or book more than once.
It is interesting to notice all these changes in my behavior around the books I read.
