Love left like a bat out of hell. Then when he came to his senses he recognized an opportunity. He could run again sure leaving Denver. Denver and him talked about this scenario. They knew it would come, at this point of his life Denver was on oxygen permanently, the fall and his old age, and all that sleeping outside caught up to him. Denver knew he would die. One of their plans if it came to it, was blow up the oxygen. Denver in one of his pockets carried a knife and a lighter. Another one of the plans was that Blue should leave. Denver could distract long enough he thought. There was another car Blue would drive to and then swap. Then another around 20 miles away he would drive to another and swap. He would appear to go on a big highway, looking like he would go out west. But he would turn and go to Florida. There the swamps could be an easy place to hideout, and there was a boat available from Denver's old military friend. Marc thought about this, but he couldn't leave Denver, no matter their plan. It wasn't so simple. Denver also didn't give him the sign. Marc checked his phone nothing. He pulled into the gas station. Just twenty on six please. When he came out he knew what must be done.
