The man with dog went the other way. If you watched him from the sky he never moved in a straight line. Pulled by the dog another black dot this way and that. Tracing the night before's animal activity. If you also watched from the sky you could see that he was going in the complete opposite direction from his friend, who turned right, right when he was turning left. And then the mirror image when he took a left. They didn't realize this but when they walked away from each other like it was the epicenter of something else. The guy with the dog unlocked the door.

Lets find you something to eat. The dog just wagged his tail.

It was a one in million occurrence the scientist said. People usually don't walk with that much structure.

The two scientists replayed the satellite footage. But its almost completely in sync. Even when they go to their houses. The other scientist replied.

They replayed it again, and then again.

But maybe this is just one of those things. You know like a shark driving a car.

The other scientist wasn't so sure. It seemed weirdly rehearsed almost written.

They analyzed other footage, even went to the other focus areas. The one they were at was still studying the Blue shift. The effect on people's well being after the Blue man. Most scientists concluded it was for the best. The Blue man was too entertaining. Too real. People couldn't look away.

on the whole were happier, more present, but a sub group was sad. Well not just sad, all the metrics pointed at a more complicated emotion something like mourning a loved one's death, but also like you left one of your gloves somewhere, annoyed at themselves.
