The Giraffe

Keith logged on. He went through the usual data. His guy had one visitor noticed at the door. Delivery guy. Then his phone was on, and his tv was on at the same time. Likely in the same room based on the distance. Keith could tell the distance, because the phone picked up a high frequency signal emitted from the tv. Keith thought about the man with the dog, can the dog hear it he wondered. There have been many times in his life where Keith wondered what animals thought. What questions they would ask. Why build something so big? Do you need a car that goes so fast? Keith loved animals. What they did with their day always amused him. Not dogs but more like crows or birds, wild animals. Like when they see a human are they scared. How long do they think about it? Do they have names for this one or that. Do they whisper to each other, that that was big one, or wow such a small human. How impacted was that giraffe at the zoo's day upon seeing Keith. Keith's monitor wasn't facing the earth, but away in the stars. Sometimes when over lunch he could see the earth, and it would make him feel small. I can't imagine that giraffe remembers me he thought.
