Always at the End eggs

as reply to burning time to go to chipotle

Marianna at noon went into the diner. It smelled the same as the day before, she thought about sitting in the same booth, but didn't want to draw suspicion. She sat so she could see the kitchen door. The waitresses would go in an out, and she was hoping for a peek. She didn't really expect to find anything in particular. Its just a lot of coincidences so she had to see if something was there. Maybe just an awkward conversation, like I liked your
eggs
, and then he responds, would love some of yours. What if he's gross she thought. Its not like she wanted to marry the guy she just wanted to see him.

What you having today hun?

Just eggs please, scrambled. There was a pause as the waitress wrote. And some coffee too.

There we go the waitress said. Can't be starting the day without that.

She moved and poured Marianna a cup, the warmth hugging her hands. She blew on it to cool it down. Her glasses steamed a bit.

I wonder if he likes coffee. She thought to herself, then thought she said it aloud.
