Case of the Yips Gas City

as reply to imagining

Marc brought it up to the waitress and the
Gas City
diner.

Have you seen that one guy, you know the. He made gestures with his hands. The guy that always plays loud music.

Ohhh, Max? Yeah he wasn't feeling so good. Had to take a few days.

Ah, okay, just seemed like something happened.

The waitress made a face, like this was the first time she thought something was strange about it.

When someone says there sick, thats probably all they are. She poured more coffee into his cup, and walked to the kitchen to collect more orders.

She thought about Max more. It was a bit weird he wasn't here. It sure was quieter. But she didn't really understand why he'd lie. He gets paid hourly so its not like he's getting any more money. She chuckled to herself. Its weird this guy is so nosy, but I guess maybe they talk. She started brewing another pot of coffee. She herself drank decaf. When she was younger people would give her shit for it. Decaf can't you handle caffeine. She couldn't. Her dad couldn't neither, when he was in a good mood would tell people he a case of the yips. She didn't like telling anyone anything like that.
