Before all that Blue man shit, Marc shaved with an electronic machine. His wife gave it to him for Father’s Day. From his daughter, but his daughter that day declared I never have seen that in my life and his wife leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek. A kiss that meant more than your welcome, and more like with this now you won’t get razor burn. It was care shown through many actions, born out of observations and planning and sharing a routine together for almost 10 years.
Marc used that thing everyday. He left on the charge rack and every morning he would use it to trim his beard down to a more 5 O clock shadow. He looked handsome like this, and sometimes his wife would peck him on the cheek without saying a word.
When he shaved he always did the same. The neck and around the mouth first. Then he used to pretend he was done with a moustache and long side burns. His wife would beg him to shave the rest and he admire himself in the bathroom “I think I might keep it” he always shaved the rest. Ending with a splash of cold water.
