The coffee this time was supposed to taste different. The barista told Keith.
"Yeah, so this is like actually, my favorite drink atm." He pronounced each letter.
"Its supposed to be like an americano, but like more flavor right away."
Keith now listening to him talking about this regretted his decision, he liked his
cappuccino
why should he change.
"You think I could add some milk?" Keith said. Looking seriously at dark glass of liquid.
"Woah, milk in a long black is where K-man draws the line, sometimes you just gotta enjoy the coffee."
Keith was watching the dark espresso slowly reach the bottom of the glass.
"Isn't it just an americano?" Keith said.
"Keith, man, its a long black, just try it, its good."
Keith looked at a little more, took his camera out and snapped a picture, not for anyone else but himself, he wan't to remember how it looked, two layers combining and mixing.
He took a sip. Thought for a bit.
"I guess you do smell the espresso more." He took another sip. "6 out of 10."
"What? 6 out of 10 thats what you gave the americano."
"I know." Keith smiled jokingly. "It's still no cappuccino." He said.
"Just enjoy it for what it is, something different." Keith was sitting at the bar, as another customer came it. They got a drip coffee then left quickly.
"If you want some really crazy some people, replace the water with tonic."
Keith made a face, and went back to reading, the barista went in the back to clean.
