Things had not been the same since Chuck's therapist died.

Chuck's wife Linda thought this while drinking a coffee. It was already past noon. She usually never drunk coffee this late. But she'd woken up late. Things were different for her too. Not just for Chuck. Their home was in shambles.

Linda began looking for a therapist of her own. Nobody stuck. It felt like dating again. Endless searching for the right chemistry. She asked how Chuck was doing. He was torn too.

"Don't you want a therapist too?" Linda asked him.

"I do. I'm looking. I'm looking."

Linda cried and embraced Chuck's chest. It smelled of Tide laundry powder.

Chuck on the other hand was pretending. He wasn't looking for a therapist at all. He was hoping he would never have to go to one again. When Linda looked at him he'd put on a sad face. Say something sad. But inside he was quite happy. Excited even. He couldn't stop keeping up on the news about his therapist's death. The community wouldn't stop talking about it.
