Alan was listening to a podcast about relationships.
"In some ways if you stay in a bad relationship just for their like hapiness, your kind of killing yourself."
"Yeah, totally agree." The other podcaster responded.
Alan nodded he never thought of it that way. Not that he really had a relationship before, he just liked that knowledge thought about how he might use it later. Maybe with Aaron, maybe with Jack.
He'd sent him a message. "Yo dude you free later, tell me a time and we can call or something."
It was Friday, he was stopping by the coffee shop in the morning he had to drop off some things

mentioned. His mom told him last night "Its nice to do things like that for someone, especially her, she works so hard. Its nice you've been around. Worst case you can tell interviewers you worked at a cafe."
He didn't tell his mom everything though, but he felt like she got it.
He brought mostly some lights he had down stairs, and this disco ball. Hard to find but he thought it was still those vibes she was going for. He also brought her a flower, his mom did say that too. Although he wasn't sure if he should actually give it to her. So he left it in the car.
