“We lost eyes on the purse.”
The radio beeped to say over.
“Where do you think she went?”
Carl scanned between one camera to another. No nothing. Not a thing. It’s like she’s just gone in thin air.
Sarah checked too.
“Yes that’s confirmed.”
“She could only go to the dark spot. But we have eyes before and after.”
“Light blue you said? License plate N0 H8. She’s gone I don’t see her on anything.”
“I’d say call em back. To plan something else? Regroup maybe?”
“Should we alert the others? Or just call them back?” Sarah asked.
“Like do we tell them? It’s just crazy how we can lose her it’s never happened.”
She looked at the coffee pot. Went to e coffee pot and poured out what they had left. She took the normal coffee out a light roast. And measured two table spoons per cup. She filled the back with water then switched it on.
“I don’t want to be known for this. We need to find that girl.”
The other guys looked at each other. Sort of shrugged then Todd said “I’ll go check out dead zone get our eyes on the street going.”
The coffee kept brewing. Carl gave Todd a nod. “I’ll sweep back through to see where she went.”
