the next pot would be the usual decaf coffee blue

Sometimes when they worked late, Carl would make
decaf

coffee
in the evening.

Sarah would laugh, scoff. "Why even drink coffee if it has no caffeine?"

Carl and Todd would grin at each other. She would never understand. To Todd, drinking coffee in the evening was sort of like a cheat. But he didn't feel guilty. Because it wouldn't keep him up all night.

Although by the sounds of it. He might need to do just that. There were murmurs of a code
blue
. Todd and Carl joked about it. Sarah told them to hush. That it was nothing to joke about. But this was two hours ago. Now even Sarah was hinting at it.

"Do you really think?"

Neither Todd or Carl would say. But the looks on their faces said, yes.

"We might need to pull out the caffeinated coffee then." Sarah said.

Carl looked at Todd. Todd shrugged. What did they want from him? He wasn't the decision making type. More of a follower. Whatever they did, he was going to go with. And it looked like the next pot of coffee was going to be the usual morning brew. Dark Roast.
