"Are you the space guy?" The words rang in Keith's ear. He doesn't remember what he said, only that now he was walking outside by the beach. The sound of the water splashed and pulled and wind whipped his face. The lights of the pier had all but shut off now.
"She didn't mean it like that." He said to himself.
"How the fuck would she know that? Why ask now?"
The thought crossed his mind. Why she working for them? Was this all an elaborate plan to get to me, get me to open up or something.
He kept walking out of breathe now. He doesn't remember what he said. Is it normal to be out here in the dark.
"Fuck." He turned around and thought about going back. The shirt he had on was too thin for this cold and wind. He kept walking.
"I just tell her. If she works for them who cares. They wouldn't try to trap you like that." His heart was racing.
"It will be fine. It will be fine." He spun around and no walked directly back to the hotel. He had to pull the door shut.
The tv from the bar was still on and from it a familiar song.
"The Sea Side rest, where you feel the best."
