The Chinese shop was run by an older woman. Dave had never seen her before. She moved quickly answering the phone to preparing orders. Two younger guys worked the back, every time the silver doors opened and closed he could see them. And their music poured out from the back.
"Hello, I..."
"Yes, your order will be done at 5 your a little early. " She replied.
"What?"
"Your order, you're apartment 369 at Evergrove?"
"Uhh, yes."
"It will be ready in 15 minutes."
"Oh okay."
"Its nice you came in, now our driver can have a break."
Then another guy came in younger than dave, but not a kid. He couldn't tell if he was the woman's age or what. He was clean shaven, and smiled at Dave.
"You walk all the way here? In this heat?"
"I told him already the order will be done in 15 minutes."
"Okay, yeah I'll just wait here." Dave said, pointing behind him to the four chairs sat by the window by the front door."
"Okay, one second I am coming the delivery guy said."
When he came back, he still had a smile, but something was different. His usual bag was there, but another accompanied it.
"We were told to give this to you if you ever came in. Have a good day!"
