All Night Seaside Rest sophomore

as reply to addicted to passion

She stood outside the
Seaside Rest
listening to the rain fall. She imagined looking at herself from far away a little red light would be slowly flickering on and off. Like some fire fly.

She tossed the cigarette away and smashed it with her foot.

She breathed the smoke out with a sigh.

Highschool,
sophomore
year was a blur. She started smoking after a dance. An older guy had asked her, and his friend her best friend, so they had to go. The dance was fun, she liked that part, but then the after party came. Another friend of an older brother, a college guys house party.

The music was even louder than the school dances. There were people playing beer pong, and some others just drinking. She felt like she stood out, with a light blue dress on, and makeup that only made sense at a high school dance. People were looking at her.

So she asked the guy if they could go out and smoke. Her friends jaw dropped to the floor, but she had seen her mom smoke plenty of times so the movements came natural.

The first drag she almost inhaled too much, so after that she just did short inhales.

She liked the smoking area, there people talked, so she shined, she was quick also wasn't afraid to make fun of people. Which made everyone else laugh. So there they stayed all night.
