See Alan

as reply to the only thing

She was outside Sparrows 6am. They would open in thirty minutes. She knew they should be in now, but she didn’t know who was opening she didn’t even know who worked there.

She existed in a strange between two worlds. One that had happen led but seemed to crazy to be true. Another that should have happened but is lost forever now.

She faded in and out of these two worlds. The only thing that grounded her was opening her trunk. In there she saw the extra fuel tank. In the back seat was a pistol. These were the only things that told her what had really happened.

Being back here made her feel like nothing has change she wanted to March in there and do the morning check. Check freezer temps and drain the taps. There were so many things she used to do, and she couldn’t understand if they are still part of her?

She sat in the car and it was running. They probably thought she was a commuted waiting for the one dollar drip coffee. She wanted to go back to the beginning of her life. She wanted to have never left. She wanted to see Alan.
