being closed out Imogen Howe body heat

After entering the townhouse neighborhood his foot became lighter. Almost instictually he knew to slow down. Not because he was scared of being pulled over but because he was near now. She was close. She had stopped. She was even out of her car by this point.

Marc Love drove slow. Even though he knew where she was he looked around. Almost scared that his connection to her might be falliable and that she might in fact be somewhere else.

Deep down he knew she was at the townhouse with address 712 at the final cul-de-sac, and yet still he examined every lawn he passed.

Imogen Howe
had parked a bit ways over from the town house 712. Marc Love also parked his car there. but he didn't get out. He scoped the town house out. She was already in there. He could feel that she was there but he no longer shared her senses to high detail. All he could tell was that there was another person in front of her. He could feel his
body heat
but couldn't make sense of the words they were saying.

He could feel some tense emotion but couldn't tell if it was hostile or sad. For the first time in a awhile he didn't know what to do next. The connection was closing. He was being forced out. He was no sitting in his Hyundai SUV alone. The feeling of being solely in his body was jarring. He felt naked and like in the wrong skin. An itch to look around and see if anyone was watching him pervaded.

He turned the key and started the engine. And drove out of there as quick as he could.
