"Are they heavier after some time."
Johnny asked Dennis, this was before he went to school, before medicine and all that. Dennis to him back then was the smartest man in the world. Could do anything, could build a shed, or a computer, or send data all across the world.
"Like after all these posts, all these things you store in them, do they get heavier. Even like a little bit you know?"
"The servers?"
"The racks or whatever, like with just small little weight or something it must add up. There must be a place where it all goes, where it all comes from."
"Uh, I don't know, we could uh, here. " Dennis pulled up an old hard drive in one hand, and a new one of the same brand in another.
"So this one has my vacation last year, and the year before and this one is uh brand new. You, oh wheres the scale. "
They proceeded to measure out the weight of each one, but there wasn't much difference. The new one was even heavier.
"Maybe more like little plastic pieces fall off with all the use you. Bad model."
This made Johnny feel a bit better, but he still wanted to know.
