OR Something

as reply to he liked to hang dry

Howard felt like he was now really alone. He didn't know where the go fish guy lived.

As he trudged back to his room, he felt like he was transversing the artic or something like it. A desolate wasteland he thought. There was nothing, no animals no humans.

In his room the air had cooled rapidly, because he had left his window open the whole time. He hadn't even locked his door. He checked under his bed, and in the closet. He knew no one was there, but there was another part of him. Younger from a long time ago, that needed reassurance.

He was stupid he thought, his computer, his wallet, everything he practically owned was just here.

He looked at his phone it was 9 now. No texts from anyone. He imagined himself a monk, then he'd be happy. This would be perfect.

He checked his bank app, not much then looked at Uber Eats. His stomach growled, but he didn't have much cash. Where he was living McDonalds was relatively close. There he could like a king for three bucks. He looked around at his room, he had mac and cheese in microwavable sachets.

He changed his clothes and locked his door.

He always liked McDonalds, like a dirty secret or something.
