He hated when Steven would meet Marc. He'd always say in an annoying way "MARC Love." And sort of point finger guns at him.
He hated how Steve said it.
He sometimes would call Steven Steve. Even though he knows it annoys him. He liked doing things like this to Steven. Little digs. He wouldn't email him back right away, or he'd never ask him what he was up to for the weekend. Just little things.
He liked Marc though, though also a weird guy never took his lunch in the cafeteria, but out in the park near there office. Sometimes too he'd take like over an hour lunch, but he didn't care. He liked that about Marc. He also liked that Marc always said thank you. Like no matter the email, or anything big or small Marc would always reply with a thank you.
George started to do that too, or try, although it started to become too much. Or too hard to always do it, but at least he'd try he would tell himself.
Steven would never do something like that. Maybe he'd message a thumbs up emoji or something. But he wasn't like Marc there was something about him.
