To sleep, before all this, he had to have complete silence. Isolation and darkness, almost like a sensory deprivation chamber. He fitted his room with blackout curtains and he had a special alarm clock that allowed him to wake up with sun light artificial but it was still good.
Now he didn’t even close the blinds he liked the street light and the day light it didn’t matter he slept well. He was regular even without an alarm.
He had a routine. Or maybe it was all the exercise. When he wasn’t dancing he did sit ups and pushups sometimes even squats and calf raises. Just anything the more his body was moving the less he could think about now.
All the rest of his life seemed far away. He doesn’t think his wife would recognise him. Even if they let him out, would she let him back in? Blame him. He didn’t know.
