Sean Don had stopped his car before the diner. Something had caught his eye in a dumpster near another building so he was going through it. He found a soccer ball and an old fish tank. Good as new. The soccer ball needed some air. But other than that seemed nice.
He put these things in the back seat of the truck. Not in the bed it’d move around too much.
He couldn’t believe all the things people threw away and why. Did he just find the fish tank store? He looked at the front it was a sort of liquor store with weirdly early hours. Seemed strange he thought.
He was in the car. Is getting ready to turn right. On the road it was only like 2 or 3 minutes then he saw the diner. He pulled in, it was like a moth to a flame. It was weird to see other people at this time of night. But there was a lot. It wasn’t like it was full or nothing but definitely people. He looked for Jack have expecting him to be there but nothing. Nothing at all.
Damn he thought, he waited for a few seconds, and then a minute. Just had the car idling. He wanted to make sure he wasn’t in the bathroom or something. Nothing, he pulled up to the main road and put on his right blinker.
