As the final months of Spacecity arrived for Pete he became obsessed with researching people of his past. This was kind of sad to him and was a reminder that he truly didn't belong up there anymore. The first few years he had never thought about people down there in this way.
Now all he could spend his mind on was figuring out what people were up to down there. Were they further along in their careers? Were they dead?
It was crazy to think about how little progress he had made in his career up here. The only saving grace was that people considered it a prestigious experience. So when he went down there people would greet him with opportunities although he felt like he wasted three years of his life,
