The next morning he woke up earlier than usual. He didn’t remember falling asleep but when he woke up it felt like he slept all night. Like he slept the perfect amount.
He was, at least according to his secret message, supposed to meet her in two hours. Near where she worked he imagined or even in her work.
The last part he couldn’t figure out. He just knew the first was today and then the time. He left early though. Took a brisk walk around, if someone was watching him they’d think he had just taken up walking. He also wasn’t even in her cohort so would they even consider them an issue? There’s probably so many people from up there he’d walked by and didn’t even notice.
But now they’d be near each other for awhile. He didn’t know what to say to her. He had left his house going in the opposite direction. He would loop back soon. Back to the center and back to the star bucks. Maybe they’d just assume he was in to coffee now. Maybe no one was watching him and he was making all these worries up.
