I will admit I have been derelict in reading other posts lately. I'm not historically a write-and-dash sort of fellow. I like to see what other people are writing about and comment when I have something to say or a question to ask. I might even glance at a piece of fiction or two even though who has time for fiction?
Today was one of those long days where I got a blast of writing done this morning to finish my newsletter. I don't "batch" content for my newsletter as per the recommendations by some. I typically write the bulk of my newsletter on Sunday, let it rest for a bit, and put the finishing touches on it Monday morning right before I send it out. That's what I did this morning.
I didn't have any free time to write during the day, so I am left with churning out my three posts after 6 PM. These are the tough days where I show up for "the exercise." I still enjoy it. It's not drudgery. But it's also not ground-breaking or earth-shattering content. I'm okay with these diary-style entries that capture what's going on right now. I'm sure they will be amusing to read in the future.

And I am sure such entries will be great to reread in just a few months time.
